How can I collect and send samples to Pranidhi?
Pranidhi presently accepts blood sample on collection card or 4-6 freshly plucked medium sized feathers to perform the testing. Detailed information about sample collection is available at www.pranidhi.in. Samples once collected can be easily packed in small polythene zip lock bags. Packed zip lock bags can be enclosed in envelopes and couriered to Pranidhi’s address in Gurgaon.
Does Pranidhi provide sample collection kits to its customers?
Yes. Upon request, Pranidhi couriers sample collection kits to customer’s address immediately.
How much time does it take for getting the result?
Pranidhi provides the results over email/phone within 3 business days from the date of receipt of samples.
Does Pranidhi provide a certificate with each result?
Yes. Pranidhi provides a unique digital certificate with tracking mechanism.
How do I know if the samples I have collected have been received in proper condition?
Immediately upon receipt of samples, the help desk at Pranidhi sends out a sample acknowledgement form with details of samples received. Any deviation observed on the condition of samples shall be notified in the sample acknowledgement form.
How can one be assured of Pranidhi's sexing results?
Pranidhi laboratory team includes experts who have rich experience in Avian DNA testing. Pranidhi follows rigorous quality control procedures to ensure DNA sexing of the highest quality. Pranidhi claims its accuracy level for Avian DNA sexing to be higher than 99.9%.
What internal quality procedures does Pranidhi follow?
Internally Pranidhi follows thorough quality control mechanisms to eliminate the possibility of any technical errors. In addition to the internationally accepted quality control standards for a molecular laboratory, Pranidhi also follows practices such as specific controls in each run, use of same controls across different PCR runs as part of internal quality control.
What is Pranidhi's external quality assurance program?
- Random evaluation of already tested samples from an external laboratory of international repute
- Evaluation directly by select customers using a sample for which result is already known to the customer.
I am unsure of the test result reported by Pranidhi? What to do?
Pranidhi understands the impact that can be caused due to errors in testing results. Though Pranidhi takes utmost care and precaution during the complete process, possibility of human error does exist in any laboratory. In case of an unsure test result, Pranidhi requests all customers to track back on the complete process carefully since incorrect results have lot of underlying possibilities including errors in sample collection. If a customer is still doubtful about the test result, a repeat testing can be ordered.
I am unsure of the test result reported by Pranidhi? What to do?
Each digital certificate is unique and carries a hidden Certificate tracking number. The authenticity of any certificate issued by Pranidhi can be validated by sending a scanned image of the certificate over email to helpdesk@pranidhi.in. Complete details of the sample tested shall be provided and confirmed back to the customer within 24 hours.
I lost the original certificate provided by Pranidhi? Can I get a duplicate?
A duplicate certificate can be requested by writing to helpdesk@pranidhi.in.
How can I participate in Pranidhi's research programs?
Pranidhi requests the bird breeding community to participate in Pranidhi’s research programs. Please write to research@pranidhi.in for more information.
I am a regular user of Avian DNA sexing? Can I sign a separate contract with Pranidhi?
Yes, Pranidhi signs monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual contracts with regular customers who promise a specific number of samples within the agreed time frame.
Terms and Conditions for Avian DNA Testing at Pranidhi
- By using Pranidhi testing services for Avian DNA Testing, customer agrees to be in acceptance with the following terms and conditions
- Customer is using Avian DNA testing services for an agreed amount of testing fees at his/her own interest and Pranidhi shall provide the result along with a certificate
- The result provided in the certificate is based on the laboratory testing performed on the sample provided to Pranidhi by the Customer.
- This certificate is valid only for the sample provided. Details of certificate be tracked or verified with the unique Certificate Retrieval Code (CRC) provided on the certificate either by accessing the details from www.pranidhi.in, or by writing to helpdesk@pranidhi.in. Pranidhi shall not be held responsible or accountable for fake certificates or altered certificates provided by anybody else.
- While Pranidhi takes requisite mechanisms and quality control procedures to provide an accurate report, accuracy of testing depends on various parameters which may be beyond the control of Pranidhi. In the event of any discrepancy with testing results due to any mistake on part of Pranidhi, the liability of Pranidhi shall be restricted to refund of testing fee paid by the customer at the time of ordering the test. Pranidhi shall not be responsible for any implicit or explicit damages that may have been caused to the customer due to decisions taken based on the test results.
- Pranidhi shall not store the DNA obtained from samples unless otherwise specified by the customer. Any such service shall be at extra charge.
- All essential information such as species name, ring ID, owner’s name etc. required to be printed on the certificate is purely based on the details provided by the Customer while ordering the testing. Pranidhi assumes the details to be correct. Pranidhi cannot verify the authenticity of such information.
- Changes or corrections to the certificate are only possible if such information is provided by the customer in writing only before the testing is completed. No changes are permitted in the certificate after the testing is complete. If customer notices any information to be incorrect or different from what they have provided during testing, all such discrepancies need to be informed within 15 days from the receipt of the certificate. In such case, a separate certificate shall be issued only after returning the initially issued certificate.
- In the event of loss of any certificate by the customer, a duplicate certificate shall be issued to the customer upon written request at extra cost. The duplicate certificate shall bear the water mark DUPLICATE on it.
- Pranidhi reserves the rights to modify any of the above terms and conditions based on the changes in the business scenario or based on the changes in the company policy
